The PH:ARM project has received several awards recognizing contributions of the project, the team, and individual team members. 

These include:  

  • June 2009: Product Stewardship Institute award to Bartell Drugs for “Outstanding Program in Product Stewardship.”
  • June 2008: “Innovative Partner Award” finalist to Group Health Cooperative from the American Health Insurance Plan Foundation.
  • June 2008: “Effective Partnership” award to the Group Health Cooperative and the PH:ARM team, presented by Northwest NAHMMA.
  • October 2007:  “Most Innovative Program” award to the PH:ARM team, presented by the North American Hazardous Materials Management Association, or NAHMMA.
  • June 2007: “Extra Mile Award” to PH:ARM co-founder Emma Johnson from Washington Secretary of State Sam Reed.  One of seven awards given to state employees in 2007 (from a pool of 138 nominees), the award recognized contributions of Washington government employees. It was presented by State Attorney General Rob McKenna.
